Anyone looking for unique party venues will be glad to know there are many locations which are out of the ordinary no matter where you are. Before searching for a venue you will need to work out some details about your party. These details should include what kind of party you are having, whether or not there is a party theme, how many guests you anticipate and whether you prefer an indoor or outdoor location. When thinking of a unique venue it is important to rule out the traditional locations like restaurants, parks and private homes.
So what does that leave you with? Plenty! If you are hosting a party for adults or kids why not give it a fun sports theme? Bowling alleys are great locations for parties. Everyone at your party can bowl a game and you can have prizes for the winners. Then you can have traditional bowling alley food like pizza and French fries. Another idea is to host your party at a batting cage, go-kart track or family fun center. This is a no-brainer for a kids' party but you may not have considered this for a grown-up party. Adults can have just as much fun as kids can at these locations.
For a more sophisticated locale why not host a party on a boat if you are able? An evening cocktail party on a ferry would be an incredible idea. If you live in an area near the water you can likely rent boats for parties and even have catering done and wait staff on board to serve your guests.Another fun idea would be to host your party at a historic building like a castle or palace if such a location exists near you. If you want a cultural theme to your get together you could even reserve an area of an art museum. Some museums offer this and others do not so you'll need to check around.
When brainstorming unique party venues it's a good idea to keep a notebook handy in which you can write all your ideas. Once you've listed a few top choices you can start calling around for availability and pricing. It's always a good idea to book your party location as far in advance as possible to ensure it will be available when you need it. Choosing a unique venue over a traditional one will help you plan an amazing party that your guests will remember for a long time!
